GINJI KINASHI | 木梨銀士
Ginji Kinashi is an artist based in Tokyo, Japan. We encounter precious glimpses of awe, hidden within our day-to-day life. Ginji translates those impermanent moments of scenery and ambience into paintings, through his unique perspective of lights and colours influenced by the Impressionists. In his recent series, Flux, he began to connect those different exquisite moments together; forming animated paintings. Through implementing time and movement to his primary medium, oil paint, he expresses the idea of impermanence and flux: that everything within our universe is constantly in the process of change.
1999年東京都に生まれる。ロンドン芸術大学セントラル・セント・マーチンズ グラッフィックコミュニケーションデザイン修了。印象派の影響を受け、日常の思いがけない瞬間に現れる美しく貴重な風景や、その瞬間に併存する人と空間を描く。自身の視点から捉えられた色彩やコントラストは具象絵画の中に抽象絵画の風情を感じる。最新のシリーズ、Flux では時の経過を重ね合わせていくことで、同じ情景が移り変わるアニメーション型の絵画を制作。絵画とアニメーションを連係させて、時の流れ、日々の浮き沈みを表現している。
